This role supports our continued growth and offers the opportunity to work on (or support) meaningful projects alongside a collaborative, experienced team. You'll have the chance to build your career while contributing to impactful solutions across the communities we serve. The focus of this position is providing planning, design and technical assistance to Discipline Manager and other members of design team in delivering projects within budgetary and time constraints. Key Responsibilities Performs engineering analyses and evaluations (primarily computer-based) in support of the planning and design of civil works projects. Performs analysis and design of water distribution systems; water supply and treatment components; sanitary sewer systems and components; transmission, treatment and disposal systems; POTWs and other projects. Conducts assessment and evaluation of existing system conditions and develops recommended remedial measures. Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project Conducts project status review with project manager and team members, checking accuracy of work completed, and monitors timeliness of project completion. Attends meetings on project management. Assists Project Manager in preparation of engineering studies and reports. Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools. Assists in preparation of contract documents and technical specifications. What you'll need Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering Minimum of Eight years of experience Experience designing water and/or wastewater treatment facilities. Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and hydraulics. Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, or similar platforms. Ability to develop engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and technical reports. Knowledge of applicable water and wastewater regulations and permitting requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. Base Salary:
Competitive, commensurate with experience
Signing Bonus:
You will receive a one-time signing bonus of $5,000 , payable within 30 days of your start date.
Clawback Provision:
If you voluntarily resign or are terminated for cause within 12 months of your start date, you agree to repay the signing bonus in full.
