We're hiring motivated Engineers to join our Water Treatment team supporting steam plant systems for a major utility organization in New York. Multiple levels open - from Associate to Sr. Engineer - based on experience. This role will focus on supporting water treatment and boiler systems used in power generation. You'll work closely with operations and engineering staff to improve equipment reliability, ensure compliance, and support key infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do:

Perform system assessments , review operations, and develop corrective action plans Review and maintain P&IDs, system descriptions, and design documentation Conduct root cause analysis on system failures and recommend improvements Support project planning, system overhauls , and water treatment upgrades Assist with testing, commissioning , and field inspections Track activities with vendors and contractors, ensuring standards are met Prepare engineering reports and presentations for capital planning Contribute to emergency response support , including 24/7 availability when needed

Ideal Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field)

Associate Level:

2+ years of experience (

Base:

$80k-$110k)

Engineer Level:

3-4+ years of experience (

Base:

$100k-$130k) Sr.

Engineer Level:

6-8+ years of experience (

Base:

$120k-$150k) Strong understanding of industrial water treatment systems, such as: Reverse Osmosis, Demineralization, Wastewater Treatment, Ultra-Filtration Familiarity with boiler systems , ASME and NFPA codes, and utility operations Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting and testing protocols Ability to manage multiple priorities , stay organized, and communicate clearly Comfortable working in both office and field environments

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
