Your impact Municipalities and water-wastewater utilities in the Silver Spring, MD area have embarked on the implementation of various plans and projects to significantly improve water quality and reduce wet weather sewer overflows into local rivers and streams. As a valued member of our team in Silver Spring, MD, you'll have the chance to support the delivery of cutting-edge projects for our state, regional and local clients, including two of the most significant programs in the region. In a dynamic working environment, you'll gain experience working on projects and programs evaluating and selecting the best approaches to solve a client's challenges, managing the design of large collection system improvements, and more. Here's what you'll need A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience Experience delivering water, wastewater, and stormwater projects Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field Engineer in Training (EIT) registration Strong oral and written communication skills Self-motivation and team-oriented work practices Analytical and technical problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Interest in assisting with occasional site visits and field work to support projects Ideally, here's what you'll also have: Master's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering PE license or ability to obtain one within 2 years #LI-AD2
