Job Description

What you'll do: Prepare construction plans and engineering designs for stormwater management, drainage, flood-control, and water resources projects Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support project planning and design Develop stormwater management reports, drainage studies, and supporting technical documentation Assist with the preparation of permit applications and coordination with regulatory agencies Utilize Civil 3D and water resources modeling software to develop and refine project designs Coordinate regularly with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery Lead and coordinate design activities, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress of team members Support project execution to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field EIT certification required; PE license strongly preferred 3-5 years of experience in water resources engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and stormwater design Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software applications Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software preferred Strong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments on schedule Client-service mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to lead a design team, delegate responsibilities, and track project progress Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent time-management and organizational skills Why Thomas & Hutton?
