Position Description Water/Wastewater Senior Project Engineer - Lehi, UT At AE2S, our Senior Project Engineers remain deeply involved in technical problem-solving, design, and mentoring while taking on greater responsibility for project delivery and building stronger client relationships. You'll work on impactful water and wastewater treatment, pumping, conveyance, and infrastructure projects that improve communities while collaborating with project managers, technical specialists, and industry experts across AE2S. Responsibilities Lead the planning, evaluation, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects Prepare and oversee engineering reports, technical memorandums, specifications, contract documents, cost estimates, permit applications, and construction plans Serve as a project engineer or technical lead, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting successful project delivery Collaborate with project managers to support scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning while maintaining a strong technical leadership role on projects Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders while contributing to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, sharing knowledge and helping elevate team performance across the organization What Success Looks Like Lead key portions of complex water/wastewater projects with confidence Provide technical direction and problem-solving to project team You help deliver projects that are on time, on budget, and buildable You are actively contributing to client relationships and repeat work Why AE2S Build Your Future.
