Job Description
Essential Duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
Design portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling and Civil 3D technologyComplete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilize computers in order to solve problemsPrepare specifications materials through the use of research and equipment catalogs to specify materials, installation, inspection and payment of items specific to a projectWork to complete design details and plan setsPerform research and write objective summary reports which are used in the completion of the project work or inspectionAssist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimatesComplete field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staffCommunicate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staffSkills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related degreeIdeal candidates would have 5-8 years of experience related to water resources engineering.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeWorking knowledge of CADD software (Civil 3D preferred)Must be dependable, responsible, and have good written/verbal communication skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseAdditional InformationThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
