Job Description
J-U-B Engineers, Inc. () is seeking a Professional Water/Wastewater Engineer or Engineer-in-Training to join our employee-owned team in Meridian, Idaho. In this role, you will help plan and design municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including collection, treatment, and distribution systems serving communities across the Inland Northwest and Intermountain West. Responsibilities include hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, drawings and report preparation, and construction support under the guidance of senior engineers. Responsibilities Assist in planning and design of water and wastewater collection, treatment, and distribution systems Prepare engineering calculations, hydraulic models, drawings, and technical reports Support development of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates Coordinate with senior engineers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies Perform field visits, data collection, and construction support as needed Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams in a collaborative environment Participate in quality control reviews and continuous technical improvement Required Skills Water system design Wastewater system design Civil engineering fundamentals Hydraulic modeling Hydrology analysis Auto CAD/Civil 3 DTechnical report writing Permitting and regulatory compliance Construction plan preparation Project coordination
