Entry Level CDL-A Driver Paid Training Program

GET PAID WHILE YOU TRAIN

We offer a structured 3 to 5 week paid training program designed to prepare new drivers for a successful career on the road. You will be paired with a dedicated one-on-one trainer who will guide you through every step before you go solo.

Your training will cover:

Tractor-trailer operation and road safety ELD compliance and hours-of-service logging Pre and post-trip vehicle inspections NIS Express company policies and dispatch procedures You go solo only after completing supervised miles and evaluations. We do not rush the process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations Transport no-touch dry van freight - approximately 70% drop and hook Meet delivery appointments and maintain on-time performance Keep accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip reports Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues immediately Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Class A CDL license required Must be 21 years of age or older Completion of 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school (drivers with a valid Class A CDL and no OTR experience are also welcome to apply) Acceptable driving record with a focus on safety Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen Greenwood is located minutes from Fort Smith, one of Arkansas's top freight and manufacturing corridors.
