Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply. Overview Design parts, weldments, and assemblies to meet department objectives using CAD and other software. Responsibilities Works with Production, Engineering, Machine Shop, and Sales, to interpret design requirements, determine detail required, and coordinate design. Resolves design issues Uses CAD software to create designs, drawings, and assemblies Ensures design meets specifications and is able to be manufactured Ensures design complies with ASME standards Verifies parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness Organization of drawing files for complex assemblies Process documentation Performs other assignments under direction of supervisor or manager

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required Must be proficient with 2-D and 3-D computerized drafting programs Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software Must have excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees Experience in Fire Fighting preferred, but not required Engineering internship or previous engineering work experience preferred Candidate must pass pre-employment background check, drug-screen, and physical agility test Benefits Paid Time Off and Sick Time 401k matching Health and Dental Benefits Life Insurance Dental Bill reimbursements 9 Paid Holidays We believe your Birthday is a holiday and is a treated as such!
