This role offers hands-on training, skill development, and growth opportunities in the manufacturing industry. As an Entry Level Operator, you will work with advanced machinery and tools, contributing to efficient production while maintaining quality standards. Duties Operate CNC laser cutting and/or punch press machines according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and part drawings to determine machine setup and tooling requirements. Load and unload materials and parts to/from machines. Monitor machines during operation to ensure parts meet quality and productivity standards. Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and document results. Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser/punch equipment. Keep work area clean and organized. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely production flow Sanding, grinding, deburring using hand/power tools. Maintain tools and equipment. Train additional production personnel in new or existing methods. Move materials within the plant via forklift, pallet jack and other handling equipment. Follow USDE safety and operating procedures. Other duties and/or special projects may be assigned as required. Skills Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and fabrication. Familiarity with CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and quality inspection techniques. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with hand tools, tooling setups, and sheet metal work is a plus. Punctual and dependable. Neat and orderly execution of tasks. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks. Capable of working in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and potential exposure to different conditions. Attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work in a team environment and neatness are essential skills for this position. Knowledge of CNC laser cutting techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within the manufacturing field.
