JOB TITLE/LOCATION
Intern - Oxford, CT
DESCRIPTION
Gain professional experience within our Corporate Legal team. Interns will be expected to perform duties based on their level of curriculum completion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Learn the essential principles of contract law, intellectual property, or other areas of interest. Analyze & negotiate confidentiality agreements and other basic agreements. Assist in the process of patent and/or trademark prosecution. Legal research. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Attendance is an essential function of this position.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing a Juris Doctor or LL.M. degree Excellent reading, verbal and written communication skills MS Office proficient Experience with group work environments Must be authorized to work in the United States Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
