Entry level LPN Home Health Coordinator

The Home Health Coordinator is responsible for providing superior customer service and coordination of Home Health Services to injured workers in the work comp industry.

Essential Functions:

. Process Home Health referrals. Update referral sources. Demonstrates excellent customer service, and respect for customers, co-workers, and management. Provide and receive written authorization for equipment. Work closely with a referral source, injured worker, and HH agencies to ensure appropriate HH services are provided in the specified time frame. Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel within the office as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Understanding in IV Home Health and IV billing.

Candidate Education:

Required - High School or GED Preferred - College Degree in a related field

Candidate Skills:

Good interpersonal/verbal communication skills Intermediate Knowledge of medical terminology for HH Must have good written communication skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management. Ability to multi-task Must be well organized Ability to handle high pressure Prefer strong negotiation skills
