Entry Level Pest Control Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. You will utilize your skills in pest control methods, equipment operation, and customer service to ensure a safe and pest-free environment for our clients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines. Operate various types of equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery, to facilitate pest control operations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining treatment processes to clients and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including the types of products used and the areas treated. Collaborate with team members to develop effective pest management strategies tailored to specific environments. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques in pest control. Skills Strong knowledge of pest control methods and safety practices. Experience with farm machinery and power tools is highly beneficial. Ability to drive safely and efficiently to various job sites. Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients. Problem-solving skills to address pest-related challenges effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
