This is a paid, entry-level apprenticeship with hands-on training in Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR), emissions monitoring, and environmental compliance. You'll work onsite at industrial facilities alongside experienced technicians, using specialized equipment to help reduce emissions and protect the environment. Pay & Perks Paid training (no experience required) Sign-on bonus + overtime opportunities Employee stock options Stable schedule with long-term career growth Career Growth Clear path to Level II, Senior, and Lead Technician roles Opportunities to move into: NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Environmental Services Health & Safety roles Hands-on experience in a high-demand industry What You'll Be Doing Field Monitoring & Compliance Monitor industrial equipment for emissions using portable analyzers Perform LDAR inspections following EPA Method 21 Identify leaks and apply process leak tags Ensure compliance with environmental regulations Equipment & Data Work Calibrate monitoring equipment for accuracy Upload daily monitoring data and complete emissions reports Maintain accurate documentation for compliance Site Communication & Safety Communicate findings with site and plant personnel Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions This Job Is a Good Fit If You Want a hands-on, outdoor career Are interested in environmental or industrial work Prefer active work over sitting at a desk Are dependable and safety-focused Want long-term career growth What You Need At least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) Preferred (Not Required): Experience in oil & gas, chemical plants, or refineries Familiarity with handheld/PDA data devices Mechanical aptitude or hands-on work experience Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail Safety-first mindset Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable with physical work (lifting, climbing, stairs) Willingness to wear respiratory protection and PPE Reliable and able to work extended hours when needed What to Expect Outdoor and industrial work environments Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and loud noise (>85 lbs) Climbing heights up to 300 feet and working on scaffolding Physically active role with extended periods of exertion PPE and safety harness required (must meet weight requirements) Schedule 4/10 schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week) Overtime and occasional weekends as needed Benefits Health, Dental, Vision HSA/FSA with company match 401(k) with up to 4% match (fully vested Day 1) PTO Tuition reimbursement Mental health and financial wellness resources Referral and business development bonuses Monthly and annual safety competitions Why PROtect Start a career with no prior experience required Gain valuable, hands-on technical skills Work in a stable, growing industry Build a clear path for advancement Ready to Get Started?
