Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is an experiential mental health treatment where clients engage in ground-based activities with horses. Guided by a licensed mental health professional and an equine specialist, it helps individuals process emotions, build coping skills, and address trauma or mental health conditions without any horseback riding. Our approach to care is multi-faceted/ our clinical team consists of psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs, testing psychologists, and therapists. We function as a network of in-person outpatient services fused with remote telehealth offerings. We credential all of our providers with insurance panels in order to increase access and affordability to mental health services!

Responsibilities:

As a Mental Health Therapist in our clinic, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic and prevention services to clients and their loved ones, including therapy, case management, education, de-stigmatization of mental health issues, and crisis intervention. Demonstrate high legal and ethical standards and operate from a culturally competent and strengths-based approach. The Mental Health Therapist will fulfill productivity requirements, comply with all documentation standards. You will also be responsible for facilitating small therapeutic, support and psychoeducational groups. If necessary, Development of a plan for families that are referred. Manage and maintain client caseload according to timelines and program guidelines while meeting productivity standards. Provide one-on-one behavior modification interventions to clients utilizing strength-based approach. Work collaboratively with parents/caregivers to address clients' problematic behaviors in a professional manner. Demonstrate professional boundaries. Maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with other staff as well as other community members. Maintain required paperwork and documentation. Renewing Hope has provided for care, counseling, coaching and essential mental health services for children, teen, young/older adults and their families. Qualifications:

Required Experience:

Master's degree in social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. We will consider candidates who have completed their hours and are taking their exams. Must be BBS Registered. Valid CA driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Our counseling center was founded on the belief that we want to make happier and healthier clients one relationship at a time! At Renewing Hope Family Counseling Center, we are a team of licensed therapists that love collaborating and offering support - even if we are not always on site together. Our practice offers clients paperless files and we use very easy electronic health records. This is an ideal opportunity for the therapist who always wanted private practice but just didn't want the loneliness of private practice. We are seeking compassionate, effective licensed clinicians in our growing Riverside, Yucaipa, Hemet and Murrieta locations!! We see clients' daytimes, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. We do the marketing, provide the space and systems, do most of the admin, all for you so you can focus on doing therapy.
