Equipment Operator

Overview We are a full service Excavation company, that also offers snow removal services in the winter. We are located in Madison, NH and serve the surrounding towns in and near the Mount Washington Valley. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a equipment operator/foreman. In this role, you will play a vital part in various excavation projects, assisting fellow team members and ensuring that work sites are safe and organized. This position requires attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Operating heavy equipment.

Role Objective:

Operate heavy construction machinery for site preparation, trenching, and grading. This position demands high technical proficiency and a strong focus on utility safety and grade accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavation & Grading:

Execute site work plans, including rough and finish grading, trenching for utilities, and backfilling.

Equipment Care:

Conduct daily greasing, cleaning, and safety checks of assigned machinery.

Safety Compliance:

Strict adherence to OSHA standards, Dig Safe protocols, and trench safety requirements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with laborers to maintain project schedules. Snow removal services, shoveling and snow blowing, plowing

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of documented experience operating heavy equipment

Skills:

Ability to read grade stakes and laser levels; understanding of soil mechanics and drainage. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Able to load trucks safely on both roads and sites.

Reliability:

Consistent attendance and reliable transportation

General Requirements Physical:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Drug Testing:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random testing per DOT/Company policy.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$24.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
