1619820 United Talent is immediately seeking a Equipment Operator for a company in Parkersburg WV!

Job Duties include:

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators or material handlers (with grapples/magnets/shears), skid steers, and loaders Load and unload inbound and outbound scrap materials Sort and move scrap metal to proper processing areas Feed processing equipment Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Keep work areas clean and organized Work closely with yard staff, scale operators, and management Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Pay and Shift:

Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm. Pay is $16 - 18 per hour based on experience.

Requirements:

Previous experience operating heavy equipment required (scrap yard experience is a plus) Ability to safely operate equipment in tight, active yard conditions Strong awareness of surroundings and safety practices Willingness to work in outdoor environments year-round Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to lift 50+ lbs when needed Valid driver's license required
