This Summer position provides a rich and rewarding hands on learning experience and the opportunity to make a contribution to our organization and works under close direction of an experienced supervisor/manager. Heavy Equipment Operators assist with laboring, maintenance, and gain some experience running equipment.

Compensation and Company Benefits:

$20.50-$23.00 an hour Responsibilities Assemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools. Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.. Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices. Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, changing filters, taking oil samples, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, crawler tractors, power cranes, shovels, graders, or related equipment.
