Qualifications:

Valid and active Registered Nurse license (NYS required) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable Strong observational, assessment, and communication skills Ability to calmly handle urgent medical situations Dedication to student wellbeing and collaborative care

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assess and address immediate student health concerns Maintain thorough health records and documentation Educate students and staff regarding health practices and preventative care Liaise with parents, faculty, and administration to create a healthy school environment Provide support for students with chronic conditions or unique medical needs
