Our Free Soil location is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Equipment Sales & Rental Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a utility player able to move between equipment Sales and Rentals while also helping serve our Parts and Service customers at the counter based on store traffic. Responsibilities Sell commercial and consumer, agriculture, construction and landscape equipment & parts Coordinate supporting functions and paperwork related to such sales Ensure customer satisfaction Perform demonstrations of equipment to customers Meet with customers inside or outside of the office conducting sales presentations, provide customers support and continuous customer education Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Assist Parts and Service counter sales Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information to customers Operate point of sale computer system and collect payment Focus on customer satisfaction and retention. Make sure customers are provided with a quality customer service experience. Understand the operation of equipment. Understand equipment applications, capabilities, limitations, servicing procedures, correct loading and safety issues. Organize equipment lot Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment Check in rentals: Verify equipment hours, any damage, and fuel usage Manage organization of wholegoods equipment Requirements Must be self motivated Possess excellent customer service and organizational skills Be able to communicate proficiently and effectively in English Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft computing systems and be able to learn to operate relevant applications of proprietary business system Must be able to drive and possess a clean driving record Must be familiar with equipment and able to operate equipment Ability to prioritize, time management, and organizational skills Understanding of retail math Chauffeur's license or CDL a plus Work availability: Monday - Friday and mornings on Saturday Compensation & Benefits Compensation based upon candidate's ability and experience.
