Schedule & Hours:

Dayshift position 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) Every other weekend required Block scheduling is available

Key Qualifications:

Current and active RN license in the state of Michigan Proven experience as a registered nurse in an ER or emergency department Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations Effective communication and collaboration skills with healthcare professionals, patients, and families

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, compassionate patient care across all age groups in the emergency department Assess and prioritize patient needs, initiating appropriate interventions and treatments Monitor and document patient status in real time Triage incoming patients, ensuring timely response to acute cases Collaborate with physicians and interdepartmental staff to develop and implement care plans Educate patients and families on treatment and follow-up care
