Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Deliver critical care and support to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This contract opportunity seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with a proven background in Emergency Room care. Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Recent experience in an ER environment required Comprehensive knowledge of triage, trauma, and emergency protocols Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; additional certifications (such as PALS or TNCC) a plus Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities Capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, compassionate care and monitoring for emergency patients of all ages Rapidly assess patient conditions and prioritize based on acuity Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care Carry out physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform necessary procedures Educate patients and families about treatment and aftercare Accurately document patient information and interventions in electronic health records Adhere to established protocols, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for ER nursing
