Job Description
Executive Construction Homes, LLC is a multi-award-winning home builder recognized by the Greater Columbia Home Builders Association, with an established presence throughout the Columbia, SC area. Our land development division specializes in site work, land clearing, grading, erosion control, and infrastructure installation for residential subdivision development projects. As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dependable Erosion Control Crew Superintendent to oversee erosion control operations within our land development division. Position Summary The Erosion Control Crew Superintendent will manage daily erosion control operations across multiple land development sites, supervising a minimum of three crews consisting of 2-3 team members each. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on equipment operation experience, and a thorough understanding of erosion control standards and Best Management Practices (BMPs). The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, capable of managing multiple job sites simultaneously, and experienced in maintaining compliant and efficient field operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise erosion control crews across multiple land development projects Manage and coordinate a minimum of three field crews consisting of 2-3 employees each Operate and oversee the use of skid steers, mini excavators, hydroseeders, and related site equipment Ensure compliance with all local, state, and environmental erosion control regulations Conduct routine site inspections and address corrective actions promptly Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, project managers, and field personnel Maintain safe, clean, and compliant job sites at all times Document completed work, site conditions, and project progress Ensure proper use, maintenance, and care of company equipment and materials Support overall land development operations as needed Qualifications Prior experience in erosion control, land development, site work, or construction field operations required Previous experience leading construction or site crews of two or more employees required Hands-on experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, hydroseeders, and similar construction equipment Strong understanding of BMPs (Best Management Practices) and erosion control procedures Ability to read and interpret site plans and erosion control layouts Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials Clean driving record required with the ability to be approved to operate company vehicles and equipment
Pay:
