Escape room Game Master

An established, successful escape room in The Villages and is hiring a new Game master for on-call shifts. Our hours are noon-9pm Mon-Thurs and noon-11pm Fri-Sat, 11am to 6pm Sun, but your particular schedule will be negotiable. Hours are never guaranteed but typically range anywhere from 10 to 25 hours per week. Experience running escape room games is a plus, but it's not what we care about most. We're looking for someone who is consistently punctual, reliable, friendly, and for whom this job will be a net gain. You read that last part right: We really, seriously care about whether you have fun with this job and whether it helps you move closer to your other goals. If either isn't true, then we don't want you—not out of meanness or indifference but because we understand that all healthy human relationships are based on win-win trades. You'll do your best work for us if you're having fun and working toward career goals that are deeply important to you. Nobody wants to work at an escape room for $13 per hour forever. We know that, and it's okay. We just want you to have a good time and do good work while you're here, whether it's for six months or six years. All that being said, we do take our business seriously. Punctuality, reliability, and excellent customer service skills are paramount. If you're the type of person who shows up on time, every time, and who takes personal pride in putting forth your best effort, you'll do well here.
