Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Escrow Closer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the final stages of real estate transactions, ensuring all escrow procedures are completed accurately and efficiently. Your expertise will facilitate smooth closings by coordinating with lenders, title companies, agents, and clients while adhering to industry regulations and company policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to successful property transfers and support clients through a seamless closing process. Responsibilities Review and verify all escrow documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and clients to facilitate timely processing of loan closings. Prepare and review settlement statements, contracts, and other legal documents related to escrow transactions. Ensure adherence to FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and mortgage servicing standards throughout the closing process. Manage escrow accounts by accurately calculating, disbursing funds, and performing basic math calculations including 10-key typing for data entry. Skills . Excellent math skills combined with proficiency in basic math calculations. Ability to interpret complex financial documents while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards related to real estate transactions.
