Paralegal Certificate Full Job Description About Us:
Pockell Law Office is a well-established, compassionate law firm dedicated to providing comprehensive estate planning and probate administration. We take pride in helping clients navigate complex life decisions with peace of mind. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team and provide exceptional client support.
Responsibilities Estate Planning Support:
Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, as well as more complex trusts to assist clients in special needs and asset protection planning.
Probate & Trust Administration:
Assist with probate proceedings and trust administration, from opening to closing. Prepare petitions, inventories, accounting and identifying assets. Assist with funding trusts, preparing deeds. Monitor and track deadlines, filing documents (including e-filing) with the court and maintaining organized, accurate electronic and paper files.
Client Interaction :
Act as a primary point of contact for clients. Conduct client consultations, assessing planning objectives, and developing effective, customized solutions.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with the team. Backing up peers during vacation. Qualifications Paralegal certification or bachelor's degree preferred but not required. 2 -5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration or probate law (willing to consider talented junior attorney with right aptitude). Experience with WordPerfect and Clio. Strong drafting skills and attention to detail. Empathetic, compassionate communication style suitable for working with seniors and families.
