Job Description

Estate Services Contract Manager Rochester (Mobile in Dartford, Medway, Croydon and Bromley postcodes) Up to £47,000 Would you like to join Hyde as a Contract Manager, making sure the services provided on our estates are delivered to a high standard? We're looking for someone organised, confident and proactive to oversee estate services across name region or estate. In this role, you'll help keep our estates clean, safe and well looked after, while making sure we get good value from our contractors. You'll also build strong working relationships with customers and contractors. Your work will have a real impact , helping to create communities that feel well cared for and enjoyable to live in. What you'll be doing Lead and support a team of supervisors, cleaners and caretakers so they can deliver a reliable, high‑quality service. Manage estate service contracts, making sure work is carried out to the agreed standards and fixing any issues that arise. Keep track of contractor performance using Hyde's IT systems. Manage the estate services budget for your region, keeping spending under control and ensuring services are cost‑effective. Speak with customers before service programmes start, manage consultations and deal with any complaints that are escalated. Produce clear reports for Resident Associations and scrutiny panels so they understand how services are performing. Work closely with colleagues, contractors and other partners to improve estate services. Ensure estates meet health, safety and regulatory requirements. About you You'll bring a strong background in contract management, people leadership and customer‑focused service delivery. Proven experience managing contracts and monitoring supplier performance. Strong financial management skills, including budget allocation and cost control. Good knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to estate services (Asbestos, COSHH, CDM). Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Confident using IT systems to track service delivery, monitor KPIs and manage operational data. Why join us?
