Estimator or Sr. Estimator - Construction

Overview We have an immediate need for an Estimator or Sr. Estimator to join the Design & Construction Team. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ. Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between contractors, field personnel, client, executive staff and contract management on issues and complex matters
• Review of orders on contract for contract/procedural compliance
• Manage all orders on contract for projects within the Division of Construction
• Region 5
• Estimate and negotiate orders on contract with contractors in accordance with the contract
• Assist with the review of project claims when requested
• Develop cost estimates for project teams

Qualifications For Estimator :

• Shall possess, at a minimum, four (4) years of experience respectively, in cost estimating, including the cost preparation/review of architectural, mechanical, electrical systems/components of building construction projects, along with the review/negotiation of cost proposals
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or associates degree with 2 years of construction estimating experience
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with construction estimating software
• i.e. Means CostWorks For Sr. Estimator
• Shall possess, at a minimum, six (6) years of experience respectively, in cost estimating, including the cost preparation/review of architectural, mechanical, electrical systems/components of building construction projects, along with the review/negotiation of cost proposals
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field with two (2) years of construction estimating experience, OR associates degree with four (4) years of construction estimating experience
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with construction estimating software

Compensation:

Min $80,000

• $115,000 The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
