Estimator/Senior Estimator

Position Overview This is a high-impact role responsible for producing accurate, competitive bids and directly influencing company profitability. You'll work closely with leadership, operations, and project teams to develop winning strategies and ensure clean handoffs from estimating to execution. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs for drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceilings
• Analyze plans, specs, and bid documents to develop complete, accurate estimates
• Build and manage bid packages, including scope leveling and subcontractor comparisons
• Develop budgets, proposals, and cost breakdowns for negotiated and hard-bid projects
• Identify risk, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers for smooth project turnover
• Maintain and refine historical cost data and estimating systems
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks when required What We're Looking For
• 5-10+ years of drywall estimating experience (commercial preferred)
• Strong knowledge of framing systems, drywall assemblies, and finishes
• Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and QuickBid.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents at a high level
• Proven track record of bidding and winning profitable work
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple bids in a fast-paced environment Compensation (Market-Based)

Salt Lake City, UT:

• Base Salary:

  $90,000
• $125,000+
