Job Description

The Evening Housekeeping Lead is responsible for overseeing evening housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This role supports the Director of Services by leading the PM team, coordinating room readiness, handling guest requests, and maintaining the highest service standards throughout the evening shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Oversight Oversee and support PM housekeeping staff, including Public Area attendants, housepersons, and turndown attendants Assign nightly tasks and ensure proper completion of duties Provide real-time coaching, training, and performance feedback Foster a positive, professional, and service-driven team environment Operations Management Oversee evening/turndown service to ensure luxury-level presentation standards Coordinate with Front Office on late check-ins, VIP arrivals, and special requests Monitor room status and prioritize cleaning based on occupancy and guest needs Conduct inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Guest Experience Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns Ensure personalized touches are executed for VIP and special occasion guests Uphold resort service standards and anticipate guest needs Quality Assurance Perform detailed inspections to ensure adherence to luxury cleanliness standards Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand protocols Maintain inventory control of linens, amenities, and supplies Administrative Duties Assist with shift reports, logs, and communication notes Track room status updates and staff productivity Report maintenance issues and follow up for resolution
Qualifications:
2-4 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort Previous supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25-50 lbs Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift
Schedule:
Evening shift - 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
