Kitchen Forage Kitchen in Sun Prairie needs to add Kitchen Staff! Come help us prepare fresh, healthy and craveable dishes all made from scratch, in house with a reliable schedule and great coworkers. Required Availability (open availability preferred) Usual shifts are 3pm to 9pm. This opening is focused on evening and weekend shifts, and we're looking for someone who's comfortable with that schedule. We are open 7 days per week. Kitchen Position Description Kitchen staff at Forage Kitchen are an important part of our team. You will be working to prepare fresh ingredients for our customers every day. Forage Kitchen is a Quick Service restaurant that makes dressings and sauces in house. We also roast a variety of proteins and work with many farm fresh ingredients. You need to be proficient and willing to participate in the items outlined below: Following recipes, exactly Efficient and safe knife skills Efficient and safe use of a food processor, robo-coupe, blender, etc Understanding of common cooking practices and processes Reliability / Punctuality Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per shift carrying up to 40lbs Have fun while you work and add to the culture at the restaurant Ability to read and utilize a prep guide and routine Ability to accurately account for inventory in the restaurant Comfortable using a computer Kitchen Safety (cut gloves and non-slip shoes) Required to help with cleaning the kitchen, doing dishes, and/or putting away food deliveries

Compensation:

This is a combination of your hourly rate and tips from our tip pool.
