Company Description Sweet Meadow Farm is a vibrant working farm and educational center in Sherborn, MA, dedicated to fostering connections with animals, agriculture, and the natural world. We offer year-round riding lessons, seasonal camps, interactive farm tours, and memorable birthday party experiences for guests of all ages. Our programs inspire curiosity, confidence, and compassion, while providing opportunities to engage with our animals and learn about farm life. Additionally, we operate a farm stand and a high-quality feed business, supporting local farms and pet owners in the community. Role Description Sweet Meadow Farm is seeking a part-time, on-site Events Lead based in Sherborn, MA. This role is responsible for leading and executing a variety of events, including birthday parties, family events, and farm tours, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience from start to finish! Key responsibilities include managing event timelines, communicating with clients and participants, coordinating day-of event operations, and creating a welcoming, organized, and fun environment for guests of all ages. The Events Lead will work closely with the farm team to ensure all events align with Sweet Meadow Farm's mission, values, and community-focused atmosphere. This position reports directly to the Director of Programs and Events. Qualifications Positive, enthusiastic attitude with strong customer service skills Ability to engage with guests, answer questions, and create a memorable experience Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail Comfortable multitasking and managing event flow in a fast-paced environment Passion for agriculture, education, animals, and community engagement Experience with animals not required, but preferred! Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and during seasonal busy periods High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, childcare, or customer service is a plus Must enjoy working outdoors and having fun on a farm! Schedule Part-time, year-round position Availabilty needed for occasional Saturdays and Sundays Only one to two weekends a month required!!
