Event Planner/Coordinator

Catering St Louis Events is looking for a positive, upbeat, organized person with planning experience to be part of our incredible Event team. We have multiple locations that are historical, beautiful and perfect venues for any event. Pay is based on commissions as well as hourly rate. This is a part time position with great flexibility to work as many or as little hours as you want. Make your own schedule. We provide extensive training and fantastic support to our planners so all of our events are amazing. Here are the basics : 1) Assumes total responsibility for coordinating all aspects of special events. a) Builds relationships with clients and guests. b) Prepared and at events for appropriate amount of time. c) Coordinates menu specifications with the Executive Chef. d) Coordinates deliveries with the Warehouse Manager. e) Coordinates room specifications with the Event Design Manager. f) Coordinates itineraries with Event Captains. g) Monitors menu specifications. h) Accounts for event ambiance and room specifications. i) Acts as facility liaison for event guests. j) Solicits feedback from guests and staff. k) Responds to after event forms. 2. Enforces company values. a) Seeks continuous improvement. b) Maintains knowledge of company goals. event planning, management or related education required
