Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic Events Manager with a sales focus to drive bookings, cultivate client relationships, and oversee the seamless execution of events at our venues. This role combines event management expertise with business development skills, ensuring our venues deliver unforgettable experiences while maximizing revenue opportunities. As we rebrand Green Mill to TPI's historic Torge's Restaurant, we are updating the space while maintaining its well-known reputation as a top destination for dining and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively generate new event business through client outreach, networking, and relationship-building. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their vision and offering tailored solutions to maximize event success and revenue. Plan, coordinate, and oversee events, including weddings, corporate meetings, banquets, and private functions. Collaborate with culinary, operations, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality services. Prepare proposals, contracts, and budgets while identifying upsell opportunities for catering, beverage packages, and premium services. Track event performance metrics, analyze revenue trends, and implement strategies to drive growth. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners to enhance service offerings. Represent the venue at community and business events to promote bookings and brand awareness.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event management, sales, or hospitality operations. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and grow revenue. Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Comfortable negotiating contracts, handling budgets, and upselling services.
