Because we are looking for a Full-Time Event Set-Up Supervisor! What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for the set-up and tear-down processes of all event functions at Hyatt
• This position manages the Hyatt event space and works closely with the Events and Event Services departments to ensure exceptional guest service results
• Responsibilities also include the oversight, motivation and coaching of the Event Set-Up colleagues
• This position is very hands on and requires continuous walking, standing, and lifting of tables, chairs, and other event related equipment Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Maintain excellentmunication and coordination with all hotel departments
• Leads other associates by giving direction and training
• Promote an atmosp that ensures strong guest satisfaction and colleague engagement
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to motivate and coach a team of 10

EXPERIENCE

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills
• Must have physical stamina to lift, carry, and push 25lbs+ and tolerate continuous walking and standing, ability to team lift 50+ Pounds
• Unafraid of guest service related tasks, projects and responsibilities
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• A fun and energized person
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• 1 Year + of Event Setup Experience in a hotel environment preferred
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel event setting or equivalent What's in it for YOU?
