  • Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking a high-energy, growth-driven Event & Wedding Specialist .
This unique position transitions through three distinct operational phases to provide essential maternity leave coverage this fall, before evolving into a permanent, revenue-focused sales role with a stable schedule in the new year. You will start by mastering our internal booking pipelines and shadowing our lead coordinator. From September through December, you will take full operational command of venue bookings and onsite event execution during our peak season. In January, you will step away from daily lead coordinating and transition into an, outbound sales role, as well as venue managing role—backed by a competitive base salary plus a lucrative commission structure. Work directly alongside our lead Event Coordinator to learn our venue's client workflow, layout software, and master calendar. Phase 2: Maternity Leave Command (September

Full Operational Ownership:
Step up as the sole Interim Event Director to manage the full client lifecycle—from initial lead touch to final execution.
Onsite Directing:
Act as the primary, high-energy point of contact on event days, managing vendors, floor layouts, and master event timelines.
Lead Preservation:
Maintain a 24-hour response window on all incoming digital inquiries to ensure the sales pipeline stays hot. Phase 3: Permanent Sales & Execution Lead (January Onward)
Revenue Engine:
Shift into your permanent role to aggressively hunt for new corporate clients, social events, and holiday bookings.
Lead Generation:
Manage regional wedding expos, localized Meta/Facebook lead-gen campaigns, and direct corporate prospecting.
Shared Weekday Tours:
Share venue tours with the returning coordinator.
Targeted Execution:
Lead and coordinate shared events.
Outbound Activation:
Use your strong sales acumen to pitch, nurture, and secure contracts for remaining open calendar dates.
Client Intake:
Assist with early-stage client communications and tour follow-ups.
Venue Management & Facilities:
Oversee day-to-day venue upkeep, maintain facility presentation standards, manage onsite inventory, and coordinate with basic utility or maintenance vendors on scheduled maintenance days. Requirements Previous experience in event coordinating or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for engaging with people is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public and connect with diverse audiences. Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing is a plus for enhancing event visibility online. Ability to handle data collection tools accurately and efficiently during busy event settings. Knowledge of branding principles and marketing strategies to ensure consistent messaging across all activities. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a lively, positive attitude.
