While this job is fun and energetic, it's also fast-paced and requires a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and customer service. As a team member, you'll operate one of our mobile food trucks, serve our signature shaved ice at schools, businesses, and events, and represent our brand in the community. We are not a fast food company—we are a mobile hospitality business built on trust, professionalism, and exceptional service. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Safely drive our Kona Ice truck to and from scheduled events Greet and serve customers of all ages with positivity and enthusiasm Address questions or concerns with excellent customer service skills Take orders with speed and accuracy Accept payments and operate Square point of sale; perform quick addition and subtraction while handling cash Be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time Closely follow sanitation and food safety regulations; perform basic cleaning of trucks and warehouse Complete beginning and end of shift prepping, stocking, and event tracking Represent Kona Ice with integrity and enthusiasm at every event Smile, and have fun!

What We Offer:

Please Note:

Kona Ice of Chesapeake is seasonal and operates from March through October. Currently we are only hiring those who are available for the full season.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Must be comfortable driving a Kona truck & working independently Have a clean driving record Capable of lifting 25 pounds overhead

Pay:

$14.00 - $21.00 per hour
