Event Technician (Sports Field Maintenance) - Part Time New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 $19.39 an hour - Part-time $19.39 an hour - Part-time

• Must apply through City Website www.cityofnsb.com This position will primarily work at the New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex on the weekends and week day evenings, assisting with the cleanliness and maintenance of the fields before, during, and after sports games.
• Part Time positions do not include benefits
• Must pass level II background, physical and drug screen.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

(All responsibilities may not be performed by all incumbents) Sets up/assists in setting up event venue including but not limited to tables, chairs, A/V equipment, stages, cones, caution tape, tents, and/or other equipment related to event. Receives fees and issues receipts via recreation software. Serves as hospitality contact for special events. Performs standard maintenance for all staging, audio, visual equipment. Performs light to minor maintenance duties. Assists in general maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness of facilities; including but not limited to vacuuming, wiping off windows and surfaces, paint touch up, trash removal, blowing off grounds, sweeping, etc. Monitor facility, programs, and events and report any irregularities, discrepancies, safety, and/or damage concerns or the loss of property promptly to supervisor. Complete incident reports fully and accurately when necessary. May assist in coordinating patrons, attendees, volunteers, vendors, and/or contractors. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies. Maintains and prepares records and reports. Promotes positive customer service environment internally and externally. May act as a facility attendant. Performs related work as assigned.
