Part-Time ACT/SAT Prep Tutors Needed - Huntington Learning Center (Arlington Heights) Huntington Learning Center in Arlington Heights is seeking part-time tutors to provide ACT and SAT instruction in Math and Science . What We're Looking For We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals who demonstrate: Responsibility and reliability Enthusiasm and adaptability Professionalism Comfort working with students of different ages and skill levels Position Highlights Weekday hours available after school Saturday and Sunday hours from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Flexible scheduling (4-20 hours per week) One-on-one instruction only No lesson planning or homework grading required Paid initial and ongoing training Supportive and welcoming work environment Great opportunity for professionals from any industry Teaching certification is not required Qualifications College degree required Evening and/or weekend availability Illinois Type 09 certification is a plus but not required Candidates with strong Math, Science, or Writing skills may qualify by passing an assessment Responsibilities Provide individualized instruction using Huntington's proven curriculum Implement established teaching methods Communicate student progress and needs to full-time staff Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment Compensation $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and expertise.
