Excavation Sales Specialist

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drain Cleaner and Sales Specialist to join our team. This position requires a hands-on approach to resolving emergency sewer backups, diagnosing drainage issues, and providing effective solutions, ranging from simple drain cleaning to more complex excavations. In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate should have strong sales abilities to effectively communicate with customers, assess their needs, and offer additional services as necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

Respond to emergency calls for sewer backups, drain blockages, and related issues. Diagnose and assess the cause of drainage problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform drain cleaning services, including hydro-jetting and snaking. Handle excavation and more complex plumbing repairs as needed. Provide clear communication with customers, explaining the scope of work and potential solutions. Offer additional services and upsell to customers when appropriate. Maintain accurate records of work performed and any sales transactions. Ensure that all work is completed safely and in accordance with local codes and regulations. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers.

Qualifications :

Meet Monthly Sales Goals Previous experience in drain cleaning or plumbing is preferred. Knowledge of sewer systems, drain cleaning methods, and plumbing repairs. Ability to handle emergency situations and work under pressure. Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to upsell services effectively. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary. Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
