As an Executing Designer, you will own the complete design journey for kitchen and bath projects from initial client consultation through final installation. You are not just creating beautiful spaces, you are orchestrating complex projects, managing relationships, solving problems, and driving results.What Success Looks Like :
Months 1-3 : You've mastered our systems (Houzz Pro, design packages), built trust with the team, and successfully completed a project independently Months 4-6 : You're managing concurrent projects. Year 1+ : Clients are requesting you by name, and you are contributing process improvements. Year 2+ : You are a go-to resource for complex projects, mentoring newer team members, and potentially leading a design podYour Core Responsibilities:
Client Experience & Sales Conduct showroom consultations that wow clients and close business Use our systems and experience to streamline selections Prepare accurate quotes and secure retainer agreements Conduct on-site visits when clients sign including site survey and floor plan documentation Achieve quarterly sales targets while maintaining design excellence Design Execution Create comprehensive designs using 2020 Design and AutoCAD with a high competency in drafting and technical detailing . Produce accurate construction drawings , including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed specifications. Verify site measurements, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure all drawings align with field conditions. Prepare complete project guides including drawings, material lists, and written explanations with a draftsman-level attention to accuracy and clarity . Maintain drawing standards that support installers, trades, fabricators, and procurement. Ensure all designs are optimized for profitability while exceeding client expectations. Deliver work that is extremely task-oriented and detail-driven , ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Project Coordination Partner with Project Managers, estimators, and procurement teams Upload and organize all project documentation in Houzz Pro Coordinate material ordering and track delivery schedules Problem-solve installation challenges and approve field changes Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure client satisfaction Business Operations Maintain organized project files and communication logs Meet deadlines consistently, projects and people depend on you Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes Share knowledge and mentor team members What We areLooking For:
Must-Haves:
3-5 + years of kitchen and bath design experience (high-end residential preferred) Proven track record of managing complete projects independently Technical proficiency: 2020 Design, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and material specifications Demonstrated sales ability, you can build rapport, overcome objections, and close business Valid driver's license and reliable transportationThe Mindset That Thrives Here :

This isn't a 9-5 role. Client meetings sometimes happen evenings/weekends. Installation walkthroughs happen when they happen. We need flexibility, and we give it. Most weeks are 40-45 hours with seasonal variations.To Apply:
