Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Help support students' academic, social, and emotional growth in a dynamic educational environment near Lansdale, PA. This contract school psychologist opportunity is ideal for mission-driven professionals who thrive in varied settings and are looking for per-evaluation flexibility. The role encompasses work this summer as well as for the upcoming school year, providing meaningful support and assessment services.
What We're Looking For:
Valid PA School Psychologist License or eligibility to obtain prior to starting the next school year Proven skills in administering psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting data, and developing recommendations Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Experience working with PreK-12 students across a range of learning differences is highly valued Effective time management and reliability, particularly in a per-evaluation scheduling model Ability to respond with empathy, resourcefulness, and professionalism to the needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' educational and behavioral needs Generate written reports with actionable recommendations for interventions and supports Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to support student growth and success Contribute to IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and individualized planning processes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Assist in crisis response and short-term counseling as needed This contract offers a competitive hourly range reflective of your licensing, degree, and professional background.
