Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) available for eligible employees Overview A public sector organization is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to serve as the primary administrator for all Board of Commissioners meetings and activities. This role works closely with the Executive Director and senior leadership to serve as the primary point of contact for board-related activities, records, and meeting preparation. Responsibilities Prepare and distribute board books, agendas, meeting minutes, resolutions, and supporting materials for board and committee meetings Coordinate all logistics for Board of Commissioners and committee meetings including scheduling, document preparation, and follow-up on action items Onboard new board members and conduct commissioner orientations and trainings Maintain comprehensive records of board meetings, resolutions, policies, and official correspondence Serve as the primary point of contact between the Board of Commissioners and internal and external stakeholders Requirements Previous experience supporting a board of directors or board of commissioners required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook Outstanding organizational, written, and verbal communication skills High level of discretion and professionalism Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
