Job Title:
Executive Chef (seasonal)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity, and a strong leadership ability. This position will be a seasonal that starts from May thru october.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our restaurant's vision Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and minimize waste Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and profitability Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu planning
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Creativity and passion for food Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred If you are a passionate and experienced Executive Chef looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
