Its mission emphasizes empowerment and positive change for families and individuals living in poverty. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Castle, IN, for an Executive Director. The Executive Director will oversee the organization's operations, programs, and strategic planning while ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals. Responsibilities include leading staff, managing budgets, building organizational partnerships, securing funding through grants and donors, and serving as the primary spokesperson to the community. The role also involves working closely with the board of directors to advance the strategic vision of the organization. Qualifications Leadership and management skills, including team supervision, strategic planning, and organizational oversight Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation Strong communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience in networking, building partnerships, and securing funding through grants and donations Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex situations Familiarity with the primary and secondary education sector Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Prior experience in a leadership role within nonprofit or education-focused organizations is a plusSimilar remote jobs
