Executive Housekeeper

A private Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) family in the Chicago area is seeking a highly experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the full care, cleaning, and organization of a luxury residence. This is a hands-on role for a polished professional who takes pride in maintaining a home to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency . Position Overview The ideal candidate has prior experience working in private homes for UHNW families and understands the level of detail, discretion, and consistency required in a formal household. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping operations , ensuring the home is impeccably maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee detailed housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, etc.) Maintain pristine organization throughout all living spaces, closets, and storage areas Expert-level laundry and garment care (washing, ironing, steaming, delicate fabrics) Care for fine furnishings, antiques, and high-end surfaces/materials Manage household supplies and inventory; restock as needed Coordinate with vendors and service providers (as needed) Assist with light meal prep or kitchen support when required Prepare the home for guests and occasional small gatherings Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a private household, preferably UHNW environment Strong knowledge of high-end cleaning techniques, products, and fabric care Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs Professional, discreet, and service-oriented mindset Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Schedule Full-time, typically Monday-Friday (flexibility required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Potential benefits package Long-term, stable opportunity with a respectful and appreciative household To Apply Please submit: Resume References from previous private households Brief summary of your experience in high-end homes
