Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for supervising all housekeeping employees by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Maintains cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire Hotel.- 2. Ensures that rooms are made as per company standard.
- 3. Maintains par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.
- 4. Organizes inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.
- 5. Implements Housekeeping systems and procedures.
- 6. Prepares reports for management information.
- 7. Attends and resolves guest complaints.
- 8. Completes verification of supplies consignments.
- 9. Recommends recruitment of new personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May supervise five entry level housekeepers employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventory software, internet software, and order processing systems.Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A.A. / A. S.
) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
