Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Public Works Department as a Laborer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various tasks related to public infrastructure and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on position that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

General Duties :

Perform general labor duties to support public works projects, including but not limited to road maintenance, landscaping, and facility upkeep. Assist in the construction, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure, such as roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems. Operate and maintain hand and power tools, as well as small construction equipment. Participate in seasonal activities, including snow removal, leaf collection, and other weather-related tasks. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. Support community events and projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must have general experience in driving standard shift vehicles and knowledge of general outdoor work Must hold a valid Class A, PA Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement, or willing to obtain one within a nine (9) month period.
