Exhaust Operator Job Location:

Williamsport, PA Under minimal supervision, and in accordance with written and oral instructions, performs operations required to; prepare and chemically clean/plate components, load and operate furnaces in order to perform brazing operations, load and operate exhaust stations to evacuate (vacuum exhaust) tubes. Standard procedures are established and work is semi-routine in nature.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and install tubes for exhaust cycle. Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes. Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations. Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure. Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner. Maintain barcode accuracy at 100% Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift. Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified. Inspect/PM equipment as specified.

Qualifications:

Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required Able to perform mathematical calculations. Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity. Good organizational skills, and able to give and follow oral and written instructions. Trainable on programmable DCP's. Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
