Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Overview Join our amazing dental team as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), where your skills will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. Full-time or part-time options available. Responsibilities Place and finish direct restorations. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, and endodontics when needed. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry. Take dental radiographs (X-ray), including digital imaging and 3D scans. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols. Assist with the use of advanced technology such as 3D scanners for prosthodontics or orthodontic planning as needed. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment. Experience performing X-ray procedures and operating digital imaging equipment including 3D scanners is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
